How can I be sure to receive the item I paid for?

Not only does Press Life sell our own inventory items, Press Life acts as the agent in the sale of items from other Sellers.  During transactions such as this, Press Life maintains control over the transaction until it is fully resolved.  Simply put, the Seller does not get paid until you receive the item you paid for and have had a chance to evaluate it.  Payment is sent to the Member Seller's mailing address only after the Buyer has received the item(s) and had 3 days to evaluate the item(s).  At Press Life, our service is designed for business use. This is what sets us apart from auction or other sites.  Reliability, Accountability, and Efficiency is what we strive to bring to every transaction.   (Back to Top)

I received an item but it is not what I ordered, what do I do?

First, you must notify Press Life on or before your Return Deadline using the "Return Notice Form" in the Order Support Center.  Then ship the item as it was received to Press Life for verification of return.  Once we receive and verify the return you will be mailed payment for the entire purchase amount.  Press Life employs a technician familiar with parts and equipment for Heidelberg Sheetfed Presses to assist in resolving issues with returns and exchanges. Why do I ship the item to Press Life and not directly to the Seller?

For Press Life to grant a refund, we must personally verify the item is being returned and the reason for the return.  The Seller is responsible for the remainder of the shipping cost from Press Life's location to the Seller.  This procedure is in place to positively verify return of goods from the Buyer before granting a refund and to protect the Seller from loss of goods.

Why must I pay for shipping of returned items?

The unfortunate consequence of protecting the Seller by positively verifying return of goods is additional shipping charges in the event of a return.  Although this step increases shipping costs related to returns, the procedure is effective in reducing the potential for fraud when using our services.

What if the Seller fails to ship?

The Seller must ship the item/s within 2 business days of the Notice to Ship.  If the Seller fails to ship within the shipping deadline or fails to provide proof of shipment, the Buyer will be sent a refund for the full purchase price and the Seller will not be paid.  Upon this occurrence the Sellers listed ad may also be removed.  (Back to Top)

What if something else happens?

Press Life’s online procedures and guidelines cover a large majority of the problems encountered.  Press Life handles dispute resolution matters outside of what is covered in the online procedures in accordance with Press Life’s internal procedures and guidelines.    (Back to Top)
